Our process begins with the initial pre-paint checklist of a careful walk-around to chack for minor damage, and for repair or replacement parts that are necessary.
Stage 2
This stage is for stripping the entire aircraft of its paint down to the bare metal. We use a form of stripping solution along with a high pressure hot water wash. Also in this stage we treat surface corrosion and any other details that need attention before it is treated with a metal brightener (a form of degreasing the metal surface), and Alodine (for corrosion protection).
Stage 3
This is when most repairs take place. After the majority of the repairs are finished, and coats of primer are applied, then the minor repairs can be finished.
Stage 4
After the aircraft is painted with a special epoxy primer, high quality polyurethane paints from top amnufactureres are carefully applied to create that "wet look" that every owner enjoys. We take every precaution to make sure your aircraft looks just like it did off of the showroom floor.
